Information handled by the site

OSRS Calc does not require an account. Calculator inputs and saved goals are stored in your browser so they remain available on this device. This can include skill targets, equipment choices, preferences, drop records and a RuneScape username you choose to save. Saved values stay in browser storage unless you choose a feature that sends a value to the service needed to provide it.

If you request a username lookup, the username is sent to the Wise Old Man API at Wise Old Man to retrieve public hiscores data. If the player is not already tracked, that service may request a refresh from the official hiscores. A successful result is cached in session storage for the current browser tab.

Analytics

The site uses Plausible Analytics to understand visits and interactions. The analytics script may process page URLs, referrer information, browser/device information and aggregate event names. Calculator event properties describe the tool being used; OSRS Calc does not intentionally send usernames, saved goals or calculator inputs as analytics event properties.

For details about Plausible's data practices, see its data policy.

Advertising, cookies and third parties

OSRS Calc loads Google AdSense advertising code. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies and may process IP addresses, browser/device identifiers and information about visits to this and other sites to provide, measure and personalize ads, subject to your location and advertising settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites.

You can review or change Google's personalized advertising settings at Google Ad Settings, and learn about other industry choices at aboutads.info. You can also manage cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some third-party features or advertising choices.

Google's use of information is described in its partner sites policy. The Wise Old Man API, Plausible and other linked services operate under their own privacy policies.
