Duke Sucellus OSRS: Setup, DPS and Profit Assumptions
Duke profit tables hide important assumptions: post-quest stats, prep time, avoidable damage and whether Soulreaper axe pieces are eventually completed all change the answer.
Select the Post-quest, Awake target
The quest, post-quest and awakened versions have materially different stats. Profit planning should use the regular post-quest version unless you are deliberately benchmarking awakened difficulty.
Correct the headline kill rate
Pure target TTK excludes prep, potion creation, movement and respawn time. Those fixed costs matter more as the damage phase gets shorter, so dividing 3,600 by calculated TTK will overstate kills per hour.
The current Wiki money-making model also assumes excellent equipment, maximum combat stats and avoiding unnecessary damage to receive the additional standard-table loot. Adjust the estimate when any of those assumptions are false.
Soulreaper axe accounting
An eye of the duke is not equivalent to immediately banked cash. Its headline value assumes you later obtain the matching rare pieces from three other bosses and assemble the axe. Keep completed-axe value separate from liquid loot when deciding whether the grind funds your next upgrade.
Calculate DPS vs Duke
Loads the regular post-quest target; add prep and mechanic time to the result.
