ACCOUNT ROUTE BUILDER
OSRS Quest Planner
Build a quest route around the next unlock, with every listed skill and quest-point gate checked separately. This is a focused milestone shortlist, not a replacement for the in-game quest journal.
Set each relevant level to your current account value. Ready status uses current QP plus points from other selected milestones; it does not verify quest order, items, combat safety or prerequisites.
Tick quests you intend to complete. Selected points can meet another quest's QP gate, but prerequisite quests and route order are not modeled. Do not select quests already included in your current QP total.
Start with guaranteed early XP
At a fresh account baseline, Waterfall Quest and Tree Gnome Village have no skill gate in this model and give large Attack XP rewards. Tick them only after checking food, travel and combat safety; the planner does not call a dangerous fight “free”. For Waterfall, the XP is a one-time reward rather than a repeatable training rate, so compare the reward with your exact remaining Attack and Strength XP before planning other methods.
Use unlocks to justify training
Grand Tree becomes a meaningful target at 25 Agility because it changes transport options. Lost City and Fairy Tale I need multiple skills, so compare the time to train the missing gate with the travel saved by Zanaris and the fairy-ring route. Treat unlock value separately from the reward XP: a quest can be worth doing for access even when its XP reward is small.
Read QP gates as milestones
Dragon Slayer I requires 32 quest points. Select other QP milestones to include their points toward this threshold; the selected Dragon Slayer I reward does not count toward its own gate. A route with 32 projected points is only numerically eligible here: it may still fail in game if a required quest, item or conversation step is missing.
Verify the live chain
Quest requirements change through updates and many gates are earlier quests, carried items or dangerous encounters rather than a skill level. Before committing supplies, open the OSRS Wiki quest hub and each individual quest page. Then use the skill calculators to turn any level gate into an XP gap and a method estimate.
Choose the next quest by the bottleneck it removes
First check the closest missing gate shown above. If it is a skill, compare the XP and time needed to reach that level; if it is quest points, choose a short quest that your account can actually complete; if the gate is an unlock, decide whether the travel or equipment access will be used soon. This avoids training a listed skill simply because it appears in the form. The route is a planning aid: its checklist does not model dependencies, so manually order prerequisite quests before selecting a later milestone.
A practical session plan is to write down the next quest, its prerequisite chain, required items, food/teleports and one stopping point. After finishing it, update current QP and skill levels before selecting the next step; this keeps completed rewards from being counted twice.
Is this the complete OSRS quest database?
No. This is a deliberately curated route planner for common early and mid-game milestones. It shows the gates that this page models and sends you to the live quest journal for the complete prerequisite, item and combat checklist.
How does current quest point total affect the route?
Current QP plus other selected quests is checked against a QP gate such as Dragon Slayer I's 32-point threshold. A quest does not count its own points toward its gate. The planner still does not model prerequisite chains, items or encounters.
Why does the planner ask for these skill levels?
The shortlist includes gates for Cooking, Agility, Crafting, Woodcutting, Farming and Herblore. It asks for Magic, Smithing and Prayer only as account context for future route planning; those levels are not gates for the quests currently listed. Combat recommendations and item requirements remain separate checks.
Scope note: reward values and requirements are a curated 20 October 2026 snapshot. Always check the live quest journal before a long route.
